God willing, to celebrate the four hundredth anniversary of the publication of the English Authorised Vesion, the Society is planning for 2011 a series of eighteen commemorative lectures throughout the British Isles.

In so doing we aim to:

• Safeguard the Gospel of Christ.
  
  
• Inform churches of the excellency
  of the Authorised Version.
  
  
• Encourage churches already using
  the Authorised Version to retain
  this ancient landmark.
  
  
• Persuade churches to return to
  the Authorised Version.
  
  
• Challenge the apathy and indifference
  to the Word of God in the world at large.
